Names - you either like yours, or you hate it. There's just no middle ground.
In Asian cultures, naming a new baby is a very important part of the new person's young life. While Chinese parents traditionally tend to pick names that reflect desired qualities or characteristics for their babies, others, such as Malay parents, would name their offspring after important people in the Muslim culture.
But if you're anything like these new age parents, you would eschew these methods and choose names that are so out-of-this-world for your children, they will be hard to miss.
An unfortunate side effect of that, is some names almost border on strange.
