Deng Xiaoping's granddaughter's heart of charity

"He had hoped his mother would let him sleep just a bit longer. He is tired and it is cold and dark outside. But his tears are in vain."

Yang Yang, granddaughter of China's former leader Deng Xiaoping, organised her first charity ball in 2003 to benefit disabled persons in China. She was first influenced by her grandmother, Zhuo Lin's philanthropic attitude, and today continues to do what she can through public relation efforts to give to China's poor.
