What to wear if you are flat or busty

Wileen Chen, advertising and promotions manager of Triumph International Singapore, tells Urban what to consider when shopping for a bra to flatter curvy figures and enhance one’s cleavage:

What cuts should busty women go for?

As each woman has breasts of different shapes and sizes, it depends on what you need in terms of coverage.

If you want to look sexy, plunging styles such as a deep-V fronts or something from Triumph’s Butterfly Collection (which has a special butterfly symmetry and built-in pockets for padding to be inserted) would be recommended.

If you are planning to wear a tube top or off-the-shoulder apparel, bras with half cups offer firm support. And if you want more coverage, a full cup 3/4 bra would be suitable.

Triumph also has its Cleavage On Demand Maximizer, an adjustable push-up bra with a sexy lace-up centre (above).

What can you do if you have big but sagging breasts?

Bust creams may help in firming them. Also, a healthy lifestyle involving exercises to tone up your assets, coupled with a good support bra, will help to enhance them.

What are your options if your breasts point away from each other?

Approach Triumph staff for a proper fitting before purchasing a bra. Getting the right bra for the desired effect differs from person to person. For example,

Triumph’s Zero To Sexy collection has a unique gapless centre bridge panel that lifts and brings your breasts closer together.

Is there any way to reduce cleavage?

Yes, through wearing a minimiser bra. But why not flaunt it when you have it?
