5 things to look forward to at the AFX

1 Provocative Italian label Dsquared will open Audi Fashion Festival in the presence of the brand's founders, twins Dean and Dan Caten. Estonian supermodel Carmen Kass, discovered by American Vogue editor Anna Wintour, will open the show on April 28.

2 A ticketed shopping event called Blueprint Emporium will be open to the public on May 1 at the Pit Building in Republic Boulevard. It will showcase 60 brands - including progressive local accessories label Vice & Vanity and Thailand's avant-garde Ek Thongprasert. Tickets are $28 when bought at www.tdc.sg and $33 at the door.

3 You can own a piece of the Audi Fashion Festival. Electronics giant Samsung has collaborated with local designers Ben Wu and Desmond Yang to produce a special collection of fashion accessories. Selected pieces will be available from mid-May at Samsung's flagship store at VivoCity.

4 The AFF will be closed by Italian powerhouse Roberto Cavalli and his Fall/Winter 2010 collection. South Korean supermodel and TV personality Song Kyunga, who has fronted major global campaigns including M.A.C, Diesel and Guess, will be among those strutting the catwalk.

5 Three hot emerging labels will debut at the Audi Fashion Festival. Iconoclastic British indie label KTZ, with celebrity fans like Britney Spears and Lady Gaga, will showcase its Fall/Winter 2010 collection for the first time in South-east Asia on April 29, while American red carpet label Marchesa will send its dramatic evening gowns down the runway on April 30.
