The fresh, natural facet of the violet flower blended with an innovative chypre accord for contrast and depth is used in Balenciaga's latest fragrance, Balenciaga Paris.

French perfumer, Olivier Polge says the perfume is not a continuation of Balenciaga’s earlier scents. "As a perfumer, one of the first things you do is to smell the old fragrances and find out how they were made. But there is no intention to link the two. This is really a new style."

Balenciaga Paris is available at Tangs Orchard, Metro Paragon and the Balenciaga boutique at Hilton Hotel. Prices range from $100 to $179.
