Following the news that she has given birth to a baby girl, it has now been revealed that Vicki Zhao Wei is already married – to Huang Youlong, the wealthy businessman who has been romantically linked to her by the media for the past few months.

Singapore’s Lianhe Wanbao reported that that the pair got married in 2008 and both are now permanent residents of Singapore.

It is also reported that Zhao and Huang are named as the parents on Zhao’s daughter’s birth certificate.

Zhao’s manager, who is also her sister-in-law, Chen Rong, confirmed on the actress’s official website on Thursday that she is indeed married.

“Zhao Wei is just like any other ordinary girl who follows the course of life by getting married and having children.”

She went on to explain that Zhao had never shared with fans about her marriage and her child because she did not want to discuss her personal life

“I hope you all do not mind. Like any other parent in the world, (she) just wants to bring her child happiness,” she wrote.

She added that the baby is very beautiful and has big eyes like Zhao. Huang and his wife “can’t take their eyes off the baby” and are smiling all the time, she said.

At the end of the note, she also reassured fans that Zhao would not give up her performing career.

Since the good news was announced, fellow celebrities, such as Zhao’s My Fair Princess co-stars, Ruby Lin and Fan Bingbing, have extended their wishes and blessings to the actress.

Huang has another nine-year-old son. He had previously been romantically linked to famous Chinese pool player Pan Xiaoting, and was at one point engaged to Hong Kong beauty queen Tracy Ip .
