Nadya Hutagalung and her 8 things in her bag
by Rohaizatul Azhar

1 MOOSEWOOD MINI COOKBOOK

I’m a vegetarian and this cookbook is always handy to have around when I’m planning my meals.

2 WALLET

I support fair trade, a social movement that helps producers in developing countries obtain better trading conditions. I bought this wallet made from recycled materials in Australia from a fair trade store.

3 EARRINGS, FROM OSEL

These are from my own jewellery line and they’re made from recycled gold and pre-owned diamonds.

4 RESURRECTION HAND BALM, FROM ECO-FRIENDLY AUSTRALIAN SKINCARE BRAND AESOP

This was a birthday gift from my new neighbour. It’s a great hand cream and has a nice scent.

5 ENZYPLEX DIGESTIVE PILL

I always carry these pills around in case I suffer from food allergies.

6 KNIT POUCH

This handmade pouch is from Bali and created by a women’s initiative called Kasih Ibu (Bahasa Indonesia for Women’s Love). It is an organisation that supports and fights for the rights of women in Indonesia.

7 BODY WASH, SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER FROM AUSTRALIAN ECO-FRIENDLY SKINCARE BRAND, AKIN

Because I’m always running around, these come in really handy when I need a quick wash.

8 LOUIS VUITTON COIN POUCH

This is not entirely eco-friendly but at least it is made of treated canvas and not leather.
