'I would have used more than golf club'

WHEN the sexcapades of Tiger Woods were hogging the headlines the world over, Sandra Bullock was asked by an interviewer about her reaction.

She said she would have unleashed a golf club-swinging, baseball bat-hacking frenzy on serial-cheater Woods if she were married to him.

The interview was done in January and two months before the Oscar winner learned that her husband, Jesse James, was providing strong competition to Woods when it comes to bedding women.

"If I were (Tiger's wife) Elin (Nordegren), man, I would have hit a lot more than she did," Bullock said then.

"I would have kept hitting."

Ms Nordegren had reportedly hit Woods with a golf club on the night he allegedly crashed his car into a fire hydrant outside their Florida home in November.

The accident led to revelations about his multiple affairs.

Bullock's comments were made on the red carpet outside the People's Choice Awards, the New York Post reported.

But the explosive remarks were only unearthed this week.

A reporter with syndicated TV show The Insider egged on the actress with a leading question.

"You would have been still swinging the golf club?"

Answered Bullock, 45: "Yeah, she (Elin) stopped, she was respectable. I'd get the baseball bat, I'd get everything out."

Ironically, she was totally in the dark about James' philandering ways when she made the statement.

But soon after winning the Oscars for her role in the Blind Side, her marriage collapsed when it was reported that her husband James had a 11-month affair with porn actress Michelle McGee.

After McGee made her claim, three more women, including a stripper and a fetish model, have claimed to have had affairs with James.

Meanwhile, Radaronline reported that the actress is "beyond upset".

She was on top of the world after the Oscars and that it's a very difficult thing to deal with, the celebrity website said.

Radaronline said: "She (Bullock) has a tight circle of friends. They won't say much about her. They want to protect her.

"That's because she's been nice to everyone along the way. She's not stuck up. She doesn't act like a star. She acts like a normal, sweet person, which is exactly what she is.

"And that's why everyone is so loyal to her."

Bullock also had support from a fellow actress, Kim Zolciak of American reality television show Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Zolciak's advice is simple – castrate James, Radaronline reported.

"She should cut his whole package off. Light it like a fire cracker and blow it off," RadarOnline.com quoted Zolciak as saying on Friday.

"She's an angel. I don't know her personally but it sucks.

"It's heartbreaking," said Zolciak.
