Family and fame are not always good bedfellows, it seems.

When Angelina Jolie walks the red carpet, her designer gowns sometimes come with a bit of extra - her kids' urine.

The actress of 'Changeling' fame admits that juggling her family and career sometimes causes problems, particularly when preparing for a big event with limited time.

She and partner Brad Pitt are parents to six young children.

She was quoted as saying in an article by AHN Media Corp: "The only time fame and family life ever collides is if, you know, we're trying to get ready for some event where we have to walk a carpet and somebody gets peed on, and figures, 'Oh well, I guess we'll be wearing that this evening.' "

But with a burgeoning family brood, the celebrity couple don't seem to be walking the aisle very soon.

Jolie was previously married to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton, and admitted she is not sure why she and Brad have never tied the knot, but she is happy with their relationship.

Speaking on British TV show 'GMTV' on Nov 18, she added: 'I don't know - it's not that I'm hesitant. We jumped into being a family first, and that just seems like the biggest commitment you could possibly make anyway. So, it doesn't feel like anything is lacking.'
