How to target eyebags and wrinkles around eyes
by Melissa Lwee

Problem 3: Eyebags and wrinkles around eyes

Staying up late to chill, chat or play cards with your friends and family will have an adverse effect on your eyes so we've put together a range of fast-acting eye creams that will suit most purposes.

Panda eyes

One of the best products to instantly depuff and reduce the appearance of dark circles is Keraskin's Rice Lift (eye cream) + Cryozone (flash-cooling tool) ($170 for a set from Keraskin salons Tel: 6738-3113 for outlets information). The cream - cooled to its ideal temperature on the tool - contains Gatuline RC, a beech bud extract to firm the skin and caffeine to decongest the skin around the eyes. GoodSkin Labs Eyliplex-2 Eye Lift + Circle Reducer (RSP: $82 from Guardian) is another one with fast results, lightening and tightening the eye area upon application, while Skin Inc's Multi-Action Collagen Eye Mask ($15 per mask from Skin Inc outlets) targets puffy eyes and DHC's Pack Sheet Eyes ($20.60 for six pairs from Watsons) will help to diminish dark circles.

Just for the men, L'Oreal Paris Men Expert Hydra Energetic Icy Eye Roll On ($21.90) contains Vitamin C and Caffeine that together with a roller ball applicator offers a really simple method to reduce eye bags and dark eye circles.

Anti-aging for eyes

Now, the other really bad thing about dehydrated skin due to alcohol is that dry skin is one of the major causes of wrinkles. Then again, if you find a line, or two (or gasp, three) around the eye area, don't panic, there is help out there.

For example, Bvlgari's Touche Precieuse ($130), is an award winning wrinkle filler that quickly plumps and fills out any wrinkles.

Also do make time for Zelens Skin Science Intensive Triple-Action Eye Cream ($262 from Escentials), an anti-aging eye cream wonder that instantly tightens and firms up the area around the eye. Long term use has been said to really reduce wrinkles and fine lines around the eye area garnering it

Finally, if all else fails, head for Biotherm's White D-Tox Eye Illuminating Base ($70) that contains anti-blue pearl pigment to correct dark circles and smooth fine lines. It's makeup and skincare rolled in one!
