Secret to Aleeza Kassim's slim bod

EVER wonder how model/actress Aleeza Kassim stays slim and pretty?

The secret to her hourglass figure lies in refraining from eating rice at night.

"For dinner, I eat sandwiches or fruits," she shared with mStar Online, adding that she jogs every morning.

However, the pretty lass insists on having lunch, no matter where she is.

"Whenever I travel abroad, I bring my own rice cooker. The must-have food includes serunding and other Malay instant food such as rendang and asam pedas. When I reach the hotel, I will heat these up, but it has not reached the extent where I am frying food in the hotel," she said with a laugh.

"I know people call me old-fashioned or weird. Even my husband thinks that it's weird for me to bring my rice cooker whenever I go overseas for modeling assignments, but I'm used to doing this."

Unlike some female celebrities, the 38-year-old said she has nothing to hide about her age - not that she has to, with such an enviable hot bod and good looks.

"I am frank whenever anyone asks me about my age. There's no need to lie about it. Sooner or later, they will know about it. So is my weight. I'm thankful that my weight does not change dramatically. Maybe it's because I haven't given birth yet. If I want to lose some extra pounds, I just have to cut down on my food intake for three days."

After four years being happily married to Mohd Fauzi Che Rus, 45, the loving couple still can't get enough of each other.

"My husband and I will make sure that we spend time with each other no matter how busy we are. Every moment we spend together is precious," she said.

With such a happy family life and a successful career - she also owns a modeling agency called Vogue@Work - it seems Aleeza is leading a picture-perfect life.

"I can't wait to have children. Many people have been asking me about it. Who wouldn't want a child of her own? That's why I am focusing on having babies this year. We'll see. It's up to God," she concluded.
