Savvy Diva seminar for today's working women

For the first time ever, Diva is organising a women's seminar specially for you darling readers.

The Savvy Diva Seminar 2009, to be held on December 12, 2009, will touch on just the topics you are concerned about - your wealth and wellness.

Three established industry speakers will share tips on how to be a savvy working professional who is smart about her dollars and cents, and equally attentive to the wellness of her body and soul.

To take you through money matters is Mr Wong Sui Jau, General Manager of Fundsupermart. Mr Wong is an expert in financial planning and regular contributor of articles and opinions to the media. He will show you how investments are done and how to build a low risk portfolio.

Did you know that you can tailor your diet according to your blood type? Ms Caline Chew, Blood Type Diet consultant, who also runs My Type Store & Restaurant, will share with us a diet solution to stay healthy and achieve your ideal weight. The course, Eat Right for Your Type, which normally costs $200 for an hour long session is now more affordable at just a nominal registration fee of $10 for a condensed version of the workshop.

Yet another interesting topic which will be touched on at the seminar is Well-being through Lifestyle Therapeutic Massages. Mr Jon Tay, international spa and wellness educator, will show us D.I.Y massage techniques which can be applied in the office when you are feeling those aches from sitting long hours at your desk.

You will also get to explore your creative side with jewellery-making and nail art workshops. The toastmasters' club, a skills-based workshop, to build up your confidence on public speaking is also part of the day's activities to ensure every minute of your time spent is worthwhile.
