Wife, 40, dumped after hubby, 24, gets degree

A MALAYSIAN woman is now hunting for her husband, 16 years younger than her, who fled after he graduated from university in Kuala Lumpur.

The wife alleged that her 24-year-old husband disappeared a week before his graduation on 15 Aug at a KL university.

She said he didn't return to their house in Shah Alam, reported Harian Metro.

It was especially hard for her to take, she said, as she had paid for all his expenses during his four years in the university.

The woman, who works as a traditional medicine practitioner, said they met when he sought a remedy for a mystery illness.

She said she attended to him.

Their love blossomed and they were married at his family's house four years ago.

But it seems that the love had gone cold.

The last time she met him was during the university convocation which she attended.

'Family pressure'

She alleged that they spoke for about a few minutes before he disappeared into the crowds with his family, amid the festivities.

She told the Malay-language paper: 'Now, I don't care if he has chosen to run away from me, but I want my seven bangles, chain and a gold ring, which is all worth about RM10,000 ($4,090).

'He had kept all these for me for safety.

'I don't care if his love for me has soured or if he doesn't want to admit that I'm his wife. All I want now is my belongings.'

It is understood that he also took several important documents like their marriage certificate and her passport with him.

The man is said to be renting an apartment with his friends in KL.

She has made a police report at the Pantai police station following his disappearance.

No reply

She has also tried calling his two handphone numbers, but was unsuccessful as she got no answer.

She added: 'I think he was influenced by his family to run away. His family probably pressured him to split our marriage because of our age gap.

'But I don't care about all that now and I wish he would come forward and settle this in a mature manner.'

They have a son who is now in the care of her in-laws, she said.

She claimed she paid for all his tertiary expenses, including supplementary fees and allowances throughout the four years he was in university.

She said she dipped from her savings, earned through her work, to sponsor him.

Said the upset woman: 'Each week, I'll give him RM500 as allowance and this continued for all four years of his tertiary education.

'I also gave him advice and support.'

When you fall in love with him did you ever consider about the age gap at that time and the risk you had to take. Do you know you can be his mother.
If you love him let him go now, rather 20 years later.

Most of them want, but just cannot get one :) . So, this men have found the right one and take this opportunity to dump her for his right one.. I will say it is so sorry for the poor woman who has lost both love and $$ . This men still has long long way to go, he is only 24 and if he is handsome he can get at least 2 wife in this generation and get baby bonus from the govt:p
