With an 18-year romance in hand, Mollie Low and David Scott finally tied the knot.
And it was a sumptuous three-day affair that also celebrated Mollie’s 50th birthday in grand style too!
The couple, who held their wedding and reception at the ultra-luxe, The Istana in Bali, booked all five suites of the estate to accommodate themselves and their families.
In a gorgeous, sunset ceremony held at the cliff top, within the estate grounds, the couple said their “I dos” looking out to the Indian Ocean.
Dinner under the stars within a stylish marquee followed, and guests were given a treat just after the couple’s cake cutting. The night sky exploded with a brilliant display of fireworks. As part of the entertainment, the couple flew in jazz singer Laura Fygi from Amsterdam to perform. She sang jazz hits in Latin, English and even Mandarin. In between her performances, another band and a DJ entertained the crowd, and before long, everyone was on the dance floor groovin’ and shakin’!
And when the wedding was over, the fun continued into another celebration where bride became birthday girl.
The couple, both golf fanatics, organised a tournament for their guests. Thirty golfers were rounded up to enjoy a day in the green, complete with champagne and roast beef to feast on throughout the game.
The day ended with another party where the birthday girl cut a cake that was a life-sized replica of her golf bag. With lots of music, dancing and laughter, it was a great way to tee-off into the next decade!
