Unable, or unwilling to pay for child support?
His wife claims that he has some $320,000 in the bank. Yet the father of an eight-year-old boy told the court that he does not have the financial means to pay child support.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the man 35, and his wife, 36, filed for divorce after an 11-year marriage. They have a son, now aged eight.

The Chinese daily reported that problems started to surface six years into the marriage, when their son was just five.

The husband had an affair, and from then onwards ceased to support the family. When the divorce was finalised two years ago, the court ordered 45 per cent of the proceeds from the sale of the marital home be given to the wife, and that the husband should pay $600 monthly in child support.

Unhappy with the verdict, the husband filed an appeal for his ex-wife to get only 30per cent of the sale proceeds and that he should only pay $400 in child support.

But the man's ex-wife claimed that he has some $320,0000 in the bank, and that he deposits an average of $7,122 monthly into the account.

In countering his wife's argument, the man told the court that he only earns $2,000 a month, but has some $3,100 in monthly expenditures.

The PAP.gov will amend the marriage laws(read women's charter) alright 'as soon' as the majority of the divorced men within the population start 'to turn against them' over this issue during the 'next-next-next'(whenever) General Election :p

In the meantime, men who have done no wrong before the divorce have got to learn to fight back. How ? Be your usual angelic self, gather evidence against your soon 2b X-spouse, endure the humilations if you wish to have a better chance to secure the Custody, Care & Control of your child(ren) & last but not least, write a better & convincing counter-claim 'divorce' affidavt(read script) later. SAF Golden Rule: You can do anything you want, just don't get caught(with your pants down).

At the end of the tunnel, you will see the light & have a breath of fresh crispy clean air, like me !;) .....

earn 2000 and spend 3100....good in math la....

at present our divoice/marriage law is not up to date....we should lag behind china....China had changed it law to a more ''modern'' style. As singapore alway say that we help china to develop it industry park, eco park, finacial etc.....

we are actually lag behind in more aspect as compared to china...
Now the pap governemet should take a look at itself and do something better for it own ppl, in this aspect of diovice law...

why father must pay maintaince to wife and child....
why wife can claim $$ and propetry from the father if this is not purchase after marriage??

is time to change otherwise foreign spouns can claim our singaporean spouse CPF money/HDB property...

HELP singapore now...
