SINGAPORE - Giving her ex-beau and Dior fragrance frontman Robert Pattinson a run for his money, Kristen Stewart has gone tantalisingly topless for the latest iteration of Balenciaga's botanical-based fragrance collection's advertising campaign.
Her shoulder embellished with neon blooms, the 23-year-old Kristen is shown cradling an oversized bottle of the new scent next to her cheek - and prudes, don't fret: The fit-for-work ad visual doesn't reveal more of the actress than it should.
Conjured up by top noses Olivier Polge and Jean-Christophe Herault, the Rosabotanica Eau de Parfum hews true to name, with a simmering heart of what Balenciaga evocatively calls "spicy rose" enveloped in evanescent blue hyacinth flowers and a dash of bitter grapefruit and bracing pink pepper.
So, K-Stew for Balenciaga or R-Patz for Dior? Our perfume vote goes to the sexily scruffy latter, sorry.
In any case, we'll be seeing a whole lot more of Kristen this year, as we've previously reported that she's been tapped by Karl Lagerfeld to be the face of Chanel's Métiers d'Art Paris-Dallas Pre-Fall 2014 collection - here's hoping that campaign will give us something truly memorable!
Balenciaga Rosabotanica Eau de Parfum is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml bottles. For more information, visit balenciagafragrance.com.
