Taiwanese actress Sonia Sui obsessed with Christopher Lee's voice
by Charlene Chua

Just last month, sultry Taiwanese actress Tian Xin called Christopher Lee the perfect man after starring with him in Taiwanese drama A Good Wife.

She had revealed in a previous report that she was smitten with him because he was charming, mature and caring.

And the confessions just keep coming.

Last Monday (Dec 23), the 42-year-old Malaysian-born actor was the target of yet another bombshell's affection. This time, it was sexy Taiwanese actress-model Sonia Sui, reported The New Paper.

Sui, 33, told the Chinese media that she was obsessed with Lee's voice.

Bear in mind that unlike Tian Xin, 38, who had worked for months on a film set with Lee, Sui had met Lee only twice.

Sui is best known for being the babe who starred in one of 2010's top Taiwanese drama serials, The Fierce Wife.

Lee and Sui star in new Taiwanese drama Notice From A Bachelorette.

Sui plays a woman who places an ad to find love and Lee plays one of the 20 men her character dates. His businessman character is suave, rich and Singaporean.

Compliments

When told what Sui had said, Lee told The New Paper over the phone from Taiwan in an exaggerated "deep, sexy voice": "Is it like this? Is this what she was referring too?

"I'm very happy to hear compliments, I'll thank her the next time I see her.

"Actually, what would make me happiest is when I receive compliments on my work, like if someone were to tell me that I acted well in a certain show."

Since he has been gaining popularity in Taiwan after he signed with Taiwanese management agency Catwalk in April last year, Lee said that he has warded off potential, unwanted attention.

So what does he do when he faces over-zealous women?

He said he makes sure they know that there is a line that cannot be crossed.

Lee explained: "You say 'no' nicely and tell them that you're a married man. Anyway, who doesn't know that I'm Fann Wong's husband?"

So although work has kept them in different countries for the most part of the year, Lee said that he and Wong, 42, try their best to keep their romance fresh.

He also has a tip for married men on how to stay happy in a relationship.

He said: "Marriage is a great thing and I always advise people to get married the moment they are ready.

"I think one important thing for men to learn is that they shouldn't be afraid of the term 'hen-pecked'.

"I don't care if people say that I'm afraid of my wife. To me, I'm respecting her."

Since Lee could not spend Christmas with Wong as he was filming Taiwanese movie Black & White 2 in Taiwan, he got her a "secret gift".

Said Lee, who hopes to be in Singapore for Chinese New Year after filming wraps up for Notice From A Bachelorette: "My wish for the new year is simple and it's for my family to be healthy."
