A man who tried to intervene in a fight between his two wives in Putrajaya was beaten up by one of the women, reported Harian Metro.

The 33-year-old man, who suffered injuries to his head and body after his second wife turned on him, had to be treated in the hospital.

During the 5pm incident on Saturday, the second wife, who is in her 20s, had gone to the first wife's house after she learnt that her husband was there.

"When she reached the house, she began shouting at both the husband and the first wife," said a police spokesman. "She then started hitting her husband."

The husband subsequently lodged a police report.

> The tabloid also reported that a 13-year-old girl in Hulu Klang was raped by a man who had three wives and 10 children.

The girl, known as Maz, said she had met the man, whom she called "Papa", through her schoolmates last year.

"I was told by my friend that he was a good man and loves to foster school girls. However, I was raped by him at a hotel in Selayang in October," she said, adding that two of her friends had also become victims of the man.

Her stepfather, known as Ikmal, 24, said he noticed something was amiss when Maz came home on Dec 1, looking distressed.

"I interrogated her until she finally admitted to being raped by this 'foster dad'. I immediately lodged a police report," he said.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Amiruddin Jamaluddin confirmed the report, adding that the man had been detained for investigation.
