Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu has finally confirmed her pregnancy, via a photo uploaded on Weibo on Monday night (Nov 2).

In the picture, Barbie, 37, wearing tight-fitting white top, shows off her pregnant belly.

She also wrote: "Thank you for your blessings! We are a family of three!"

Celebrity make-up artist Kevin Chou shared the photo on his Facebook page, congratulating the mother-to-be and exclaiming: "The world will soon welcome another handsome boy/beautiful lady!"

In October, Barbie Hsu announced that she may finally be pregnant, after being married for almost three years, The Straits Times reported.

She said she was confident about it as she missed her period.

She told reporters over the telephone that she had neither received a doctor's confirmation nor told her Chinese businessman husband Wang Xiaofei and her restaurateur mother-in-law Zhang Lan the good news.

But her eagerness to talk about her pregnancy was seen by the media as an attempt to deflect scrutiny from her talkshow host sister, Dee Hsu.

Dee's husband Mike Hsu and father-in-law Hsu Ching-hsiang were being probed over allegations of profiting from insider trading at the time.
