Skincare brand Olay has launched its first hydrating range. A key ingredient in the AquAction products is known as WSK or tremella fuciformis (mushroom) extract. This ingredient is said to be better than hyaluronic acid, which is the main ingredient in most hydrating products.

The AquAction range consists of a hydration gel, toner, lotion, overnight gel and mask.

Review: I have pretty dry skin on my cheeks. After using the hydration gel for three days, I noticed that my cheeks looked less dry. The gel is easily absorbed and has a light, fresh scent.

All the products are priced at $24.90, except for the overnight gel, which costs $34.90. The AquAction products are available at Guardian and Watsons stores, OG, Robinsons and John Little.
