Carol Chu, the wife of Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau, is sporting a swollen belly, prompting speculation by a Hong Kong magazine that she could be four months pregnant.

It is learnt that Lau had called Chu's sister to accompany her throughout her pregnancy and also hired a nutritionist to mind his wife's diet, according to the magazine report picked up by Sin Chew Daily.

The paper reported that Lau had not expected a second child as his work schedule was full till the end of the year. It included the Andy Lau Concert World Tour 2013.

The baby, expected to be born in the Year of the Horse, would be a symbol of long ma jing shen, a Chinese idiom symbolising the vigour of an energetic dragon and a spirited horse. The baby's sister Hannah was born in the Year of the Dragon.
