Home-grown brand Carrie K. Artisan Jewellery has launched a customised service called Carrie K. Bespoke for brides and grooms who want a personal touch on their wedding and engagement rings.

Designer Carolyn Kan will sit down with the couple to understand their story before drafting sketches and then creating the final product. The process takes about five weeks from start to finish.

The design fee, separate from the price of the ring, starts at $1,000. The price of the ring depends on the materials used. So far, pieces created range from $2,500 for a platinum ring to more than $40,000 for a two-carat diamond ring.
