Miss World Singapore 2013 event organiser Edmund Ooi said that he had asked finalist Bai Xue to withdraw from the pageant yesterday.
He said: "Bai Xue had wanted to buy two tables at the finals but I had to ask her to withdraw from the pageant as she wasn't actively participating in our activities.
"I want the girls to know that we are serious in looking for a dedicated and deserving winner."
