MALAYSIA - Taiwanese actress-TV host Barbie Hsu is angry over speculations that she was five months' pregnant, major Chinese dailies reported.

Oriental Daily reported that she would make an announcement herself if she was pregnant.

"Do not listen to rumours spread by others," said Hsu, who has been trying hard to conceive since marrying Chinese billionaire Wang Xiaofei two years ago.

Guang Ming Daily reported that the 36-year-old Hsu had cut down on work so that she could have a better chance to conceive.

The daily also reported that Wang had openly said he wished to celebrate Fathers Day next year.
