She has done more than 30 cosmetic procedures at a cost of 10 million yen (S$124,600) - all because she wanted to look like a French doll.
The Japanese woman, a model known as Vanilla Chamu, said she wants to keep having surgery until she has achieved the look she has been craving for, reported the Daily Mail.
Photos of her prior to her first procedure reveal a rather mousy Japanese teenager, whose facial features are virtually unrecognisable from the bizarre and undoubtedly more "Western-looking" appearance that she now possesses.
Certain plastic surgery treatments, including double-eyelid surgery and nose jobs, are increasingly popular among Asian women wishing to look more Western.
Chamu has unquestionably had those treatments, but her long list of procedures also includes liposuction, eyelash implants, dimple creation and breast implants, reported social news website BuzzFeed.
But the report said she is still not satisfied with her look because she feels she has some way to go before becoming a "perfect living French doll".
Next procedure
She recently had even larger breast implants fitted and her next procedure promises to be her most extreme yet - height-lengthening surgery.
Chamu underwent her first plastic surgery when she was 19 and keeps her current age a secret.
She has become something of a cause célèbre in Japan, making countless television appearances and launching a pop career.
