In contrast to Snowy, the next foreign escort we meet is less friendly.

The Russian escort is clearly unhappy when The New Paper on Sunday team reveals our real intention in meeting her.

Susanna, 20, says scathingly in fluent English: "Please, just because you want to pry into my job, you can easily get me in trouble with the law.

"I don't need that. Please go away."

We move away and leave our source to speak to the woman. We watch the rapid fire conversation during which she shakes her head vehemently and slams a hand on the tall drinks table in the club where we are meeting.

Finally, after we watch some $50 notes exchange hands, our source beckons us over and tells us: "You have half an hour."

Susanna, 21, offers a smile that does not reach her eyes, then asks: "So what's the story?"

"What's the big deal about us that makes all of you so curious?"

We fill her in quickly on Charlene Pang's jail term and how she was part of a syndicate that had brought in foreign girls to work as prostitutes here.

Susanna's eyes flash with a glint of anger and she responds loudly: "Are you calling me a prostitute?"

We ask: "Do you not offer sexual services too?".

Operations-wise, she says she is notified of a booking through her agent who has her profile listed on several websites that are not hosted in Singapore.

"The booking will come with details of what is expected from me, like how I should dress, and the number of hours. Most times, the money is paid to our agency even before I meet the client."

The 1.69m-tall woman reveals that on one website hosted in Malaysia, it states the types of services she provides, among which are "shower together", "erotic massage", "69", "strip show" and "role play" at $400 for an hour.

She declines to provide details of where she stays here, but admits that the website does not list Singapore.

Susanna, who has been in this trade since she turned 18, says she shuttles between here and Malaysia for her bookings.

"The clients (in Singapore)are nicer and more gentle, but they are more stingy with their tips," she claims.

She also shares that she "came into this trade with my eyes wide open" because "I want to find the fastest way to make money".

"But my family in Russia doesn't know what I am doing. They think I am a model, and are happy as long as I can send home money for my young siblings' - a brother and a sister - education," she says.

She also sends money to her boyfriend, who works in a museum, so that he can save up to buy a home.

She refuses to comment on the state of online vice, but adds: "Look, the equation is quite simple. If there's a demand, then there must be supply to meet the demand."
