'I like fast cars and adrenaline'

Geraldine Loo, 27, model and flight attendant

You don't have a boyfriend, right?

With these words, Miss Geraldine Loo's mother cheekily asked her to apply for a date with Paul Foster, after she saw an article in The New Paper.

Miss Loo, a model who works as a flight attendant, decided to listen to mum as the pair are very close. She is an only child.

She hopes to meet a man who doesn't mind that she's in Singapore only seven days a month.

The rest of the time she's working up in the air. She lists London, San Francisco and Amsterdam as her favourite places in the world.

Said Miss Loo, 27:"My mum saw the article in The New Paper and told me about two cute guys looking for Valentine's Day dates.

"I'm looking for someone who is charismatic, funny and respects me for who I am.

"He also should accept that I like fast cars and the adrenaline rush that speeding brings."

Single for the past year, Miss Loo's previous boyfriend was Caucasian. They met at her previous company, where she did marketing.

He had impressed her by giving her a spare key to his BMW Z4 sports car, and allowed her to be a speed demon in it.

They dated for a few years and when his stint here ended, he asked her to move to Canada with him.

Although she had him pegged as marriage material, she decided to make the painful decision of giving him up because she couldn't bear to leave her family here.

Said Miss Loo: "A few guys have tried to chase me in the past year but they just weren't right. When I'm not interested in a guy it's quite obvious.

"I don't want kids. Being a flight attendant has scared me off them as they are a handful on the plane."

what an oxymoron! she spends 7 days in a month out of Singapore and she couldn't bear to leave her family here! who is she trying to kid? and if she wants the adrenaline rush, Singapore is certainly not the place to do it. Go seek your adrenalin somewhere else, girl!
