Triumph's latest Shape Sensation collection offers control undergarments made from ultra-lightweight lycra fabric.

It stars a new design – the shaping bra, which has larger side and back panels to keep bulges in check.

Prices from the collection range from $119 for a low-waist bottom to $179 for a corset.

As many women tend to pick the wrong undergarments for their body shape, the lingerie giant has launched a new app that its shapewear stylists will use when advising customers.

Called the Shape Sensation avatar, it comes in five main female shapes: A (pear-shaped), I (straight), O (round), S (hourglass) and Y (top-heavy).

The avatar will model the pieces on the stylists' iPads so you can pick the items you fancy before trying them on.

According to Triumph Singapore, the Shape Sensation Virtual Avatar is piloted in Singapore and may be adopted by Triumph International globally in time to come.
