SINGAPORE - Alldressedup's star designer Sven Tan has set up his own label, called In Good Company, with fellow Singapore designer Kane Tan, 30.

Mr Sven Tan, 33, was hired by The Link group to helm the design team of Alldressedup in 2004, but left the home-grown label in April as he wanted a "change in environment".

In a phone interview with Urban, he said: "After 16 seasons, I think it is time to venture out and try something different. Otherwise, I'll never grow."

When contacted, Alldressedup's spokesman said the label is still looking to hire a principal designer. Mrs Tina Tan-Leo, founder of The Link group which owns Alldressedup, remains its creative director.

In Good Company offers not only women's ready-to-wear, but also a kids' line that caters to girls aged three to eight. It will be stocked at Front Row, 02-09 Raffles Hotel Arcade, from Dec 7.

Prices range from $89 for a top to $179 for a dress.
