Actress Nabila Huda Suhaimi is defending her fashion choice after the gown she wore during the Anugerah Blokbuster 2011 was deemed "too sexy".

Nabila, affectionately called Abil, told Kosmo! that her black gown, designed by Alia Bastamam, was fashionable.

"I am a person who loves to experiment with fashion," she said, adding that she was comfortable showcasing the dress.

"Unfortunately, it became an issue with some people who were uncomfortable with it," she said of the gown which exposed her chest and stomach and had a slit up to her thighs.

She apologised to those who thought her appearance was "too sexy".

"I took into consideration sensitivities and covered my stomach and chest by wearing a black tube when I appeared with Zahiril Adzim to give out the trophies," she said.
