Chinese actress Fan Bingbing is now attached, and her boyfriend is an "average" man, not someone from the entertainment industry as rumoured.

The 31-year-old, who is currently promoting her new thriller Double Xposure in China, revealed in Beijing recently that she has found her Mr Right.

She said: "Some people... think (my boyfriend) should be a very lucky and fortunate man, but that's not true.

"People who don't work in our industry find it very hard to understand what happens here... So it isn't as fabulous as everyone thinks to be romantically involved with me. He's actually quite miserable."
