TV series Glee has seen a myriad of high-profile stars dropping in on set and stealing the limelight from its regular cast members.

Oscar-winning US actress Gwyneth Paltrow had a guest-starring role that led to an Emmy win, and now it's Kate Hudson's turn to shine.

So it's no surprise that Carly Rae Jepsen wants to follow their footsteps - even if it's just a cameo.

Said Jepsen, 26, to more! magazine: "With my musical theatre background, Glee would be pretty cool."

The Canadian added: "At this point I wouldn't say no to anything. I'm leaving my options open and seeing what happens."
