Boring ol' Biel brings sexy back
by Jeanmarie Tan

Just as I was about to give up on Jessica Biel, she proves she has it in her after all.

I've had plenty of issues with the 30-year-old US actress' non-stop parade of bridal-esque white dresses during her Total Recall promo tour.

Perhaps the future Mrs Justin Timberlake heard my pleas (or fired her previous stylist), because she made an incredible 180-degree change for the second phase of her red carpet run.

Gosh, it's like riding a fashion roller coaster with this one.

Not only did Biel improve by leaps and bounds by giving colours and prints a chance, her brunette tresses and bangs were under control and trimmed to perfection.

I don't particularly enjoy eating my words, but I do believe in giving credit where it's due.

1. Biel slowly restored my faith in her style cred when she appeared on TV show Good Morning America in New York City to plug Total Recall.

Her cute and chic teal Oscar de la Renta embroidered bijoux print silk faille short-sleeve frock - paired with ivory Louis Vuitton metal cap-toe pumps - was a good start.

2. She cut another pretty picture at the Berlin photocall in this dreamy watercolour print crop top and tiered skirt from Christian Cota and blue Brian Atwood ankle-strap peep-toe sandals.

To make things even more refreshing, she pulled back her fringe into an updo for once. It's about time you show off that beautiful face, girl!

3. Who is this femme fatale and what has she done to boring ol' Biel?

She was obviously feeling sexy, powerful and confident at the Berlin premiere, in a divalicious sequined black backless Elie Saab halter gown that exposed the right amount of side cleavage.

4. This is hands down the best she has ever looked.

She turned up in London in a fashion forward, show-stopping Giambattista Valli "white swan" ensemble that rightfully landed her on best-dressed lists and blew my mind.

I'm even willing to overlook that it's yet another white outfit because of all the drama that comes with it.

Everything about this unique silhouette is divine - from the masculine vibe of the tuxedo-style collared shirt with sheer panels to the feminine lace sleeves, feather peplum and floral applique pencil skirt.

She accessorised with a white Fendi tube clutch, but the icing on the cake were those neon pink Christian Louboutin pointy pumps. It's a W-O-W - and then some.
