Da Mouth's Aisa Senda is happy to turn 30

Moving into your thirties can be a worry for many female entertainers in the youth-obsessed world of showbiz, but to Aisa Senda, aging can be a prospect worth relishing.

"When I turned 20, I became an adult, but I wasn't sure of what I wanted… but right now, I feel that I'm in better control of my life," said the pint-sized, baby-faced vocalist from Taiwanese hip-hop quartet Da Mouth.

The Okinawa-born singer-actress made her debut on Taiwanese TV in 2000 when she was just 18 years old. Her career took off after she joined Da Mouth in 2007 as the sole female member.

Better known for her cutesy and athletic image, Aisa says she is happy to experiment with sexier and bolder wardrobe choices now.

She was in Singapore to promote Da Mouth's latest album Influens, with fellow members Harry Chang, Sakamoto Chun Wha and Hsueh Shi Ling.
