Fans of Greek organic skin and hair care brand Korres can now rejoice as three new additions to the Wild Rose family have hit stores in Singapore.
The exfoliating cleanser, eye cream with SPF 15, and 24hr moisturising and brightening cream (for oily and combination skin) are retailing in their two outlets at Raffles City Shopping Mall and Parco, Millenia Walk Atrium.
The main ingredient in the Wild Rose range is wild rose oil which has a high vitamin C level and is rich in linoleic acid. This means that it has healing, moisturing and softening properties that helps to repair fine lines and skin colour disorders.
The products are made of organic ingredients and are created in their laboratories in Greece.
Product: Wild Rose 24hr moisturising and brightening cream (for oily and combination skin)
Description: The cream for normal to dry skin was one of the first products that Korres launched and is one of their stellar products. However, given our warm and humid climate, the product is not ideal for most Singaporeans who tend to have either oily or combination skin types. To ensure your skin is moisturised throughout the day, the cream contains Imperata Cylindrica extract that regulates cellular water equilibrium in the skin. To reduce shine, the new cream contains corn powder to absorb oiliness.
Review: At the media preview, Diva tried both creams. The cream for normal to dry skin was heavier than the cream for oily and combination skin. The new cream absorbs into the skin quickly, so it is good for most skin types.
Product: Wild Rose exfoliating cleanser
Description: The Wild Rose exfoliating cleanser suits all skin types. It contains salicylic acid that performs micro-exfoliating action while improving skin texture. There are also aloe vera extracts to protect the skin as an anti-irritant and moisturiser.
Review: Our skin felt softer and smoother on the second wash. The exfoliating grains from rice seeds and cherry stones also did not feel abrasive.
Product: Wild Rose eye cream with SPF 15
Description: Last, but not least, is the eye cream which has a smooth and light texture with a faint scent of roses.
The eye cream shields and brightens the eye area while simultaneously working against fine lines and dark circles. It is packed with ingredients to enhance radiance, increase cellular oxygen consumption and strengthen the delicate skin at the lower lid.
Review: Diva tried the cream for a week and found that it helped to lighten dark circles. The cream felt light and blended in easily. A tip to get the most out of your eye cream is to pat it on before moisturising your face.
Free consultations are available at any of the two outlets where beauticians will assess your skin type and recommend products suitable for your skin.
