Sporty Spice Melanie Chisholm, 38, has split from her boyfriend of 10 years, Thomas Starr, 45, a property developer. The couple have a three-year-old daughter, Scarlet.

Just a few weeks ago, the British singer from girl group Spice Girls had told The Daily Mirror that she had no plans to tie the knot with Starr anytime soon because they're "happy the way we are".

No news as to why the couple broke up, but Chisholm will have enough to occupy her in the coming months.

She and the recently-reunited Spice Girls are working on a musical, Viva Forever!, and she will be starring in new reality show Superstar with famed composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.
