Forbes magazine has reported that Gisele Bundchen is the highest-paid model in the world with an earnings of a cool US$45 million (S$57 million).
The annual list, which was released on Thursday, covered models’ earnings from Maylast year toMaythis year.
The top 10 in the list had combined earnings of about US$100 million, New York Post reported.
The 31-year-old Brazilian bombshell’s earnings come from her contracts with Versace, Esprit and Pantene.
Bundchen, who recently announced she is expecting a second child with her husband, American football star Tom Brady, also earns a percentage of profits on products bearing her name, such as the Ipanema flip-flops.
A distant second is British supermodel Kate Moss, 38, with estimated earnings of US$9.2 million, driven by lucrative deals with Topshop, Rimmel and Mango.
Rounding out the top trio is Russian Natalia Vodianova with US$8.6million. The 30-year-old mother of three is the face of perfume campaigns for Calvin Klein and Guerlain, and also designs her own clothing line.
Others in the list include Victoria’s Secret models – 31-year-old Brazilian Adriana Lima (US$7.3 million) and 27-year-old Dutch Doutzen Kroes (US$6.9 million).
