Is Chinese billionaire Wang Xiaofei under pressure to divorce Barbie Hsu due to their inability to have children?
According to Hong Kong tabloids, Wang's mother is upset that the couple have remained childless after more than a year of marriage, and has demanded that her son divorce Hsu.
Other reports added that Hsu, 36, has undergone artificial insemination, without success. The Taiwanese actress is five years older than Wang.
As if to refute the swirling rumours, Wang posted a family photo to his Weibo account on April 25.
It was taken with the couple and Wang's divorced parents.
He wrote "because of my wife's effort, this is the first time in more than 10 years that I'm eating together with my mum and dad".
He added that his mum told him to "treasure your filial wife".
In his post, he also thanked his mother "for being good to my wife and not causing me any stress".
He also urged mothers to treat their daughters-in-law well, if they love their sons and want them to be happy.
