SINGAPORE - Over 450 pre-loved bags were collected as part of a handbag donation drive last month, organised by Galleria Italiana, a multi-label Italian luxury leather goods boutique, in partnership with the Singapore Council of Women's Organisations (SCWO).

The event marked International Women’s day and helped to raise funds for SCWO.

Bag donors were rewarded with $50 Galleria Italiana gift vouchers for each donated bag.

The collected handbags will be sold at SCWO’s thrift shop New2U, and all proceeds will benefit the Star Shelter, a crisis center that provides a safe haven for women.
