She is clad in nothing but stiletto heals and a hat.

The 19-year-old Karlie Kloss proudly shows off her flawless figure in the Italian edition of fashion magazine Vogue.

The fashion world has been so taken in by her that she has been labelled the "new Body", Daily Mail reported.

That accolade has been previously reserved for supermodel Elle Macpherson. But Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani believes Kloss is more deserving of the accolade.

The magazine celebrated Kloss' extraordinary limbs in a coveted "one-girl" story shot by the model maker, Steven Meisel. The headline read "Body by Kloss".

The 14-page Vogue feature confirms her as a major player in the world of supermodels. The Chicago-born beauty is currently ranked fourth in the world by models.com.

Kloss is no stranger to maximum exposure. She has bared some skin before. She shot a topless beauty editorial for Allure magazine in September and wore a mesh dress in Chanel's spring 2012 show that left little to the imagination.

This year, Kloss renewed her contract with Christian Dior for the third season in a row.

She is also known for her runway walk, which is often described as powerful and "panther-like".

Kloss is having a year to remember, The Telegraph reported.

After turning 19, she was tapped by Victoria's Secret to be its newest "Angel", one of the most lucrative contracts in the modelling industry.

The job turns a model into a household name - when the fashion show aired in the US on Tuesday night, 10.3 million people tuned in.

And as every past and present Victoria's Secret model will tell you, being deemed an "Angel" opens many other doors.

By the age of 18, as Kloss was finishing up high school in St Louis, Missouri, she became a face for Prada and Dior.

At her first New York Fashion Week in 2008, she walked in 31 shows.
