There are no lack of red T-shirts around, and these are another way to introduce red into your colour scheme.
Personally, I shudder at the thought of spending more than $60 for a T-shirt, especially when I'm trying to tighten my belt.
So with that budget, a visit to Topman should help. This T-shirt is at $46, so it won't break the bank.
It's trendy enough to wear it anywhere else.
Topman's sale ends today. While this T-shirt is not on sale, you might find other red items that are.

Consider this the foundation for going red.
Finding red underwear is not as easy as you would think.
These come closest.
From the Calvin Klein Body and Body Stretch collection, these are bright enough to make it work.
Besides, a pair of Calvins are very comfortable and nothing is sexier than a pair of Calvins, right?
These are at $55 and you'll find them at places such as The Paragon, CityLink Mall and Raffles City.
If you're looking to go for all-the-way red, try the Jockey counter at Tangs. There is even one with Chinese New Year greetings.
I found a pair of with seamless waistband for $26.90 for two. I got to head back to get more.

For those who really hate bright colours, you got to make an effort. So this is the best compromise.
Go dark with your tight jeans and boots, and go slightly bright with the shirt.
The check is a trendy print this season and it is a good way to introduce some colour into your wardrobe.
At Ben Sherman, you'll find a big selection of check cotton shirts which will retain your street cred, while making your parents happy.
The current collection is about mixing punk with clean tailoring.
Sounds like a style you could work with? If so, head to the Ben Sherman boutique at Paragon.
The shirt is at $169.

Red shoes are hot, and wouldn't be out of place outside this festive season.
These Pumas - priced at $169 and from its Spring Summer 2009 Chinese New Year collection - are for serious luck gatherers.
The foundation is from the Puma vault, the basic shoe design from 1987, and is a high-cut version.
But look out for the touches that make it uniquely Chinese New Year: Embroidered dragon scales, customised Chinese calendar rubber tongue badge, "Chinese New Year" holiday script in gold foil and a premium leather collar.
It's gold and red and will make the elders happy.

This is for the red hipster.
The Ray-Ban Wayfarer is worn by trendsetters.
It is timeless, so it won't matter what the current sunglasses trend may be.
This is an updated version, called the Ray-Ban Wayfarer II ($275).
I like the bright colours that have an '80s vibe to it.
These red sunglasses can be found at Sunglass Hut.
If red is too much to handle, there are turquoise and ice white colours as well.
