BEIJING - Taiwanese actress-host Barbie Hsu, 34, has allegedly had a miscarriage, according to Chinese media reports.
According to Chinese news website sina.com, "Big S (as Barbie is fondly known in the Chinese entertainment industry) had a miscarriage in May or June."
But it seems her miscarriage has affected her relationship with her millionaire husband, Wang Xiaofei, who is four years her junior.
The couple was spotted arriving at the airport in Beijing two days ago, looking angry and ignoring each other.
Reports say they had gone to Europe to enjoy a 'second honeymoon'.
According to the Daily Chilli, Hsu and Wang are playing the blame game - he blames her for losing the baby and vice versa.
They've even stopped talking to each other, claim sources close to the couple.
When contacted, both parties and their families have declined to comment.
Rumours of her pregnancy had already surfaced in November last year, when Hsu and Wang got married.
Her mother had shot down the intense speculation, saying "all will be known in 10 months".
After the wedding, photos showed the usually image-conscious Hsu wearing less-than flattering outfits and flats, which further fuelled the speculation.
She also turned down acting offers, reportedly so she could concentrate on being a wife and mother.
