ACTRESS Diana Danielle Danny Beeson has been given a deferment for national service training for the 2009 period.
National Service Training Department director-general Datuk Abdul Hadi Awang Kechil stressed that the 17-year-old had not been exempted from training.
"Her case has been classified under ‘extraordinary circumstances'," Kosmo! reported him as saying. The actress signed contracts with KRU on Oct 22 and White Merpati Entertainment on Sept 26, he said.
"The best thing to do is to defer her training because she cannot break the contracts," he added.
He said she would be called for training in either the 2010 March or June sessions depending on when her contracts end.
"Whatever the case, she must come for training later on," he said.
