FASHION portal SheShops.com has launched an iPhone app to allow members to share their favourite fashion finds on-the-go.

Launched in October 2010, SPH portal SheShops.com lets fashion-savvy women show off their fashion finds to friends and other members of the SheShops community through virtual closets in an online social media space.

The SheShops.com iPhone app enhances the shopping experience for users as they can share their finds by snapping a picture and sharing it with their friends instantly.

The app allows users to "shop, share and style". When the user is out shopping and they spot something they like, they can snap a photo with the SheShops.com app and upload it to their SheShops page immediately.

They can add in details of how much it costs, its colour, material and brand. Users can then share their fashion finds with their friends via their SheShops page or via their favourite social network like Facebook or Twitter to find out what their friends think.

Members can also find their own style and get inspiration from browsing their friends' virtual closets or checking out Everyone's Closets. They can also dish out fashion tips by commenting on their friends' finds.

From now till June 30 2011, users can stand a chance to win $1,000 in cash whenever they share their latest fashion finds via the new app. The more they upload, the more chances they have to win. $100 will also be given out every Wednesday to the most stylish fashion find shared via the SheShops iPhone app.

The first weekly winner was selected on May 18, 2011 and announced via the SheShops.com weekly newsletter, on SheShops.com and the SheShops.com Facebook page.

Another SPH portal AsiaOne has also recently launched its mobile app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The recently updated app lets readers get up-to-the-minute news and photos. Also within AsiaOne's stable is the SoShiok iPhone app, the mobile version of the portal's food website, SoShiok.com.
