Expert's tip for a good marriage
by Shivali Nayak

Marriage 'edu-tainer' Jay Laffoon has a simple tip for a good marriage: "Men, talk more. Women, have more sex," he says.

Jay, 49, was in Singapore with his wife and fellow edu-tainer, Laura, 48, to share with Singapore couples the secret to lasting marriages at Marriage Convention 2011, co-organized by Marriage Central.

Also launched, the new "His and Hers Quiz", a self-assessment online tool for soon-to-wed and married couples. It was launched by Guest of Honour, Mrs Yu-Foo Yee Shoon, Minister of State for Community Development, Youth and Sports.

The Laffoons, who are from America, have been travelling across America and Canada for the last 15 years educating people on how to develop successful marriages. They said a common problem couples face is communication.

Laura Laffoon explains: "I think one of the major issues in marriage is shutting down and not continuing to communicate because it might hurt the other person's feelings or it might be a bit difficult."

While this couple of 26 years may have all the answers when it comes to the ingredients for a successful marriage, what about their own marriage? Just how in sync are these marriage experts? RazorTV puts them to the test.

More? As in how much 'more'? Try doing it everyday and you will be bored with each other within 1 month (for those who are already in alternate schedule).

Best tip is: Don't take each other for granted.
