IF you're not familiar with Lyn shoes, this is what it has to offer - extremely high heels!

Of course, the label also has casual flats but the brand's director, Suvita Chansrichavala, proudly states that the label's signature is "very high heels" of up to12.7cm (five inches).

Some people say our shoes are too high but those are the ones that sell quite well," she adds.

Originally from Thailand, Lyn (which goes under the Jaspal Group) arrived in Malaysia early last year and can be found in Isetan Suria KLCC and Isetan, The Gardens. Last month, it opened its first stand-alone outlet in Bangsar Village II, Kuala Lumpur.

Chansrichavala says that they have been looking into opening a flagship store here and "when the space opened up we grabbed the opportunity."

"We've been well received which is why we have full confidence in opening more stores," Chansrichavala says. So, why should women shop at Lyn?

Chansrichavala explains that Lyn offers more than just shoes. It sells accessories to match the collections such as handbags, small leather items, watches and sunglasses.

"We are committed to bringing our customers cutting-edge designs and quality products, and aim to provide a dynamic retail environment for our style savvy young followers. We are dedicated to continuous innovation and creating new collections for our fashion-conscious customers.

"We hope to lead the market and offer a one-stop shopping solution for shoes and accessories," she quips.

The label was created in 2001 and has since grown to 18 stores in Thailand, three in Malaysia and one in the Philippines.

"When we started Lyn, we saw a gap in the market for fashionable shoes at reasonable prices. Lyn's shoes is for the woman who is looking for high fashion at affordable prices," she concluded.
