The Furla 2011 Spring/Summer collection is a study in contrasts.
Clear forms, essential lines and an extreme attention to function and proportions are typical of the Furla tradition. These are beautifully combined with materials and chromatic contrasts that evoke lush vegetation.
The collection features a festival of bright colours borrowed from a tropical garden; from avocado to acai berries, from passion fruit to mango, contrasting with neutral desert and savannah tones that range from coconut white to various shades of brown. A triumph of nature that represents our vision of the exotic, fantasy realm.
New materials, such as carved or braided calfskin, wrinkled or crocodile printed leather, with a precious and sophisticated look, offer rich textures that highlight the rigorous and essential lines and forms of the bags.
In addition, there are bags and shoes constructed from rubber. These new and futuristic versions use modern technologies and are proposed in transparent, solid colours as well as lively multicolour versions.
