Multi-label local store turns five

Multi-label boutique, Front Row is five years old December 5, 2010. The celebrations will kick off with a slew of anniversary activities and new brand launches throughout 2011 – all which are eclectic and free-spirited in the manner of all things Front Row.

Lulu & Co - A Capsule Collection of Five
The Lulu & Co brand is conceived as a series of limited edition ‘edits’ and personal collaborations with the force of design talent showcased at Fashion East, a philanthropic project established by Lulu Kennedy in London.

For its inaugural project, Lulu & Co has produced an exclusive capsule of by ten designers from the Fashion East collective. This treasure trove of dresses celebrates a decade of London’s most outstanding talent.

Five of these seminal designs will be available for sale at Front Row: Richard Nicoll, Marios Schwab, Meadham Kirchhoff, House of Jazz, and Jonathan Saunders.

Five new and emerging Asian labels

78% is a line of Back to Old School collection of leather and canvas briefcases. A modern twist on the old-fashioned school satchel.

FRONT ROW launches the Zazie, a designer urban briefcase that can act as a preppy handbag. A grand solution when you just want to limit yourself to the small stuff. Made of Japanese wax coated canvas, produced from Egyptian cotton and Italian top-quality vegetable-tanned leather.

*Available in store from 6th December

Hoi Ming - a witty, luxury brand of leather accessories from Hong Kong. Entirely handcrafted in leather, Hoi Ming creates bags and brooches with reason(s) and surprises. Find this in bags inspired by cloud shapes, leather bats that can be worn as a tie or necklace, and corsage brooches made out of cork and pony hair.

*Available in store from 15th December

Antebellum - The brand’s new S/S 2011 collection is straight-up, simple and direct; doing away with clutter and superfluous details.  The collection is accented by sportif elements and high-performance fit-lines in reflective tape bindings reinterpreted on classical menswear styles.

*Available in store from 15th December

Iamwhoiam - S/S 2011 collection takes inspiration from old photographs of British Indian Army troops.  Military influences in the collection juxtapose the uniforms of colonial British soldiers and colonels with pared-down uniforms of native Indian foot soldiers, pitting stylized officialdom against utilitarian sarongs.

*Available in store from 15th December

Utt’er - Loosely referencing the feminine ideal that the Gibson Girl represented, Utt’er’s S/S2011 collection is a re-interpretation of the multi-faceted icon at ease: taking power-dressing down a notch with a softer approach to silhouettes; emancipating hard lines for soft, feminine pieces that reflect sporty accents on cycle-friendly pieces.

*Available in store from 15th December
