Andy Lau's rumoured flame sighted at his S'pore concert

Carol Chu, Andy Lau's rumoured beau of 18 years, turned up in a show of support at one of the Heavenly King's sell-out concerts in Singapore over the weekend of Dec 12 and 13.

Acccording to the Lianhe Wanbao, Carol Chu appeared without fanfare at Andy Lau's Hong Kong concert early this year.

She pulled off the same "low-profile" stunt again in Singapore on Dec 13, entering the Indoor Stadium only after the curtains were up and the show exploded onto the stage.

'Under-the-radar' Carol groped in the darkness to find her seat in the third row, among Andy Lau's raving fans. She was recognised immediately by the fans sitting in the same row.

Andy's love children?

What struck surrounding fans was the pair of children by her side. The girl and little boy were rumoured to be the love children of Andy Lau and Carol Chu. The children were first caught on camera by paparazzi in 2001.

"The little girl resembled Zhu Liqian (Carol Chu) and looked to be about six years old," a fan said.

"She could not sit still, but was running around," she continued.

"The little boy looked to be at most five years old and sat quietly with Zhu Liqian's relatives throughout the concert."

At the concert, Carol was like other Andy Lau fans, screaming her heart out at the high points of the concert, enjoying Andy's familiar and nostalgic tunes.

Andy's appeal

In his repeated appeals to his devoted fans - "Can I get married? Can I have children? Do you want me to be happy?" - Andy seemed to be garnering approval for his private life and the decisions he was about to make.

The fans roared their approval.

Other than Carol, most of her family turned up in full force at the concert. Even Carol's mother was present to lend her support.

Then, in an exit as low-key as her entrance, Carol left during Andy's final song.

Without fanfare, she walked out in the dark, helped by her brother-in-law.
