Followers of Japanese style and fashion will delight in the launch of Capitol Optical's newest Japanese concept store, Shinagawa Optical at Wheelock Place, a showcase of the most extensive range of made-in-Japan designer eyewear frames in Singapore, specially designed to tailor-fit Asian features.
Making its entry into its Singapore for the first time will be internationally acclaimed top Japanese brand 999.9 (Four Nines), renowned for its distinct minimalistic styles and designs as well as the skillful craftsmanship, delicate finish and refined treatment.
Other notable designers include that of Japonism, Dun, 925 Knight, MIJ, USH, Saxe Blue, Muguet, Yellow Plus, Less Than Human, Loose, Ridol, Syun, Solid Blue and Factory 900.
Redefining the whole eyewear dispensing experience, the store also features a barber chair that is equipped with a visual camera that detects the optical centre of the eye for better visual acuity in the fitting of the eyewear.
Images of the wearer's look will also be captured by the camera to enable them to make a comparison of the various styles and looks.
They will also be seated in front of a three-fold mirror so that they can look at their eyewear from different angles, making the whole selection process more comfortable and precise.
